Socio vs. Socio

A reader asked me what I thought of a particular sociopath versus sociopath match-up. I responded:
Socio vs. socio would be very interesting to watch. Do you know that I am a little afraid of going up against a fellow socio? Part of it is I am just so used to dealing with empaths that I feel like my skills are not well honed for socio combat. I'm sure I could improvise in the moment and that perhaps that would make the dance even more thrilling, but I am not at all sure that I would prevail -- probably 50/50 in my mind, which are not the odds I'm used to taking.
The other scary part is knowing deep down that I would stop at nothing to win. This makes me nervous in the same way that rage makes me nervous -- there is a loss of control and I would be worried about fallout.
I'm sure there's nothing to be worried about. I've gone up against a few socios before, been played for a fool, and actually learned quite a bit for my troubles, so I think that if I survived I would have gained something from the experience. Also sociopaths would probably be reluctant to engage in an all out war unless the stakes were high enough, and with so many other easier pickings to choose from I doubt that it would statistically ever come to that.
My previous altercations with sociopaths all ended in a détente after it became apparent that continuing to fight would harm much more than help either one of us. But I do sometimes worry about being in that sort of cold war situation and having something go wrong, or going up against a sociopath with a trigger finger or a bit of a death wish.

  13. Well let us hope that any confrontation with another sociopath you have takes place at the mouth of a volcano that is about to erupt. It may teach you smugsters that there are forces greater than yourselves in the world.
Doubt it, though, you're all so self-absorbed that you'd think the reason the other sociopath was covered in ash was down to you being particularly evil or on form that day.
Instead of navel-gazing, why not do the world a favour and go out and upset another sociopath and see where it leads?
It's always good fun for us lowly empaths to watch two nasty, evil people go at it. Even us normal people are smart enough not to intervene (sometimes).

This post reminds me of MAD magazine's comic strip Spy vs. Spy. They keep plotting against each other for eternality. Yet if one of them is destroyed, then the would be game would be over. I guess socio vs. socio cold war situation would depend of one's sense of humor, endurance and love of gaming.

Perhaps sparring at a certain level could be a considered a form of 'path' intimacy?

Let me state for the record, that this comment was not directed at any one here. Let me further state that I have not been so in touch with my rage until recently, and let me further state that it is comforting for me to know that I can talk about it here but nowhere else. Holding onto rage and telling others about it makes you look like you are trying to hold onto the past. We go through stages. You know what this reminds me something I always think about rape victims. Rape is about power over another. About forcing something they don't want onto them. So why do people never flip the script? Like you are getting raped say something along the lines of "WOW it's kinda small" or "HARDER YES O GOD YES!" or "You're not very good at this." or "Hold on let me put it in.". I mean it just takes everything out of it. Watch the person turn impotent. Just treat them like an old lover. It would surpise the shit out of them and would probably make it last just a couple of seconds. If you are just open to it and take away the power by making it mutual or acting disappointed then it defeats the purpose. Just make sure not to say anything that gets you killed. In fact even if they plan to kill you if you go with the old lover it just might make them lose interest in that too.

  20. My previous altercations with sociopaths all ended in a détente after it became apparent that continuing to fight would harm much more than help either one of us.

This is how it usually goes. I wouldn't worry though, most psychopaths (and sociopaths) will only start something with you if we see a weakness in you, or if we're extremely bored.

    Rage makes me nervous

That's a funny way of describing it. I'm not sure I would call what I feel when I'm angry 'nervous'. I'm far too angry to be nervous, when I may have reason to be so.

I sometimes think I may "black out" if I don't deal with my rage or give into it ("black out" can lead to you doing things in an unconscious state and not remember it afterward). I guess that can be unsettling, but to me it's more an awareness than an actual feeling.

I've written a few articles on the subject at my website. You're welcome to take a look.

Unless you regularly or daily come and go in criminal circles, the risk of you meeting a psychopath who'll engage in something like what you describe is very, very small.
The odds may be different with sociopaths, since there are estimated 3 of you to each one of us (psychopaths).

    Anon 6:23,

I do love this kind of lively comments. It adds color to the 'debate', and I guess it's true that we can tend to be a little smug now and then. You must forgive us, being superior is a heavy burden, and in times such as these (with all the lovely empaths thinking we're bad - I know you would never think that way, of course) the only self defense is smugness. And arrogance. And a thorough sense of self-importance. Don't forget we're god-like! *S*

  21. Kesu I was just thinking about that comment and I've thought about what you said too.

I think part of the problem is the surprise of it. No one really expects to get raped, and let's face it, most empaths in that position don't really have a very cool head. But you're definitely on to something there. Rape is about power. Take away the power and all you're left with is an exceptionally mediocre quickie.

    Sociopaths fear like normals do?

I'm not sure. But psychopaths generally have a very low range of fear. When I described the situation where I remember I felt fear, I was told it wasn't real fear, because I didn't interpret it as a bad or horrible feeling but as interesting and slightly exciting.

  27. Why must I forgive you being smug? I don't like smugness in anybody- sociopath or not. It is a deplorable trait and I've more time for a non-smug sociopath than a smug normal person. But that is impossible because it seems to me that all sociopaths are smug. So my thoughts are nonsense.
Why would I automatically think all sociopaths are bad?
To be honest, I think sociopaths are hollow as people- they do not experience emotions therefore, any nastiness on their part is carried out of a sense of sadism and not through the usual routes of envy, jealousy or fear etc. Deplorable as I think him to be, I doubt very much if Hitler was a sociopath.
No sadistic streak, nothing much to fear, I think. Apart from the games they play to fill an emotional void. But not even a sociopath is dumb enough to think that a knife to the throat won't kill, so why commit crime and risk punishment if there is no great gain for them?

The problem with you sociopaths is that you get lost inside your own heads; you labour under the illusion that being different is better. Well sometimes it is, but not always. If god-like means being oblivious to outside threats, then I agree you are god-like.
But there are a lot of people who think that their god is better than the gods of others so best to watch out that you're not crucified.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anon 10:23

it seems to me that all sociopaths are smug.

Hm, maybe. I'm not sure I agree. I'll admit I can be smug, but I don't think it's a permanent thing with me. I'm not sure about others either. No, I've seen some non-smugness from psychopaths and so called sociopaths.

I think sociopaths are hollow as people- they do not experience emotions therefore, any nastiness on their part is carried out of a sense of sadism and not through the usual routes of envy, jealousy or fear etc.

From what I "know" about sociopaths I can see why you would think they're hollow as people, but I'm not sure you're right.

It's a common view of psychopaths though. And in some ways I guess we are, at least in the sense that we lack certain emotions that the neurotypical majority find fundamental to the human range of emotions.

But we're not emotionless. Even the highest scored psychopath has emotions. Fear is rarely part of our reasons to be sadistic, but some psychopaths have a lot of envy/jealousy. I'm not one of them, but I've met quite a few who do have this emotional trigger for choosing who to attack.

In that sense I am perhaps to some degree how you describe, because envy is rarely what triggers my sadistic impulse.

There're two things that trigger my lust to play with people. One is simply if I spot weakness and have nothing better to. The other is if the individual has given me a reason to want to hurt them.

But it always seems to me that neurotypical people are the really smug ones in your certainty that only your emotional scale and range is right and good. We always hear about the feelings we do not have, such as Remorse and Empathy. But how do you know we don't have feelings that you do not? You're so focused on those two emotions and that everybody must have the capacity to feel them or be called emotionless.

Deplorable as I think him to be, I doubt very much if Hitler was a sociopath.

I think you're right, he wasn't a sociopath, and probably not a psychopath either. Well seen!

The problem with you sociopaths is that you get lost inside your own heads; you labour under the illusion that being different is better. Well sometimes it is, but not always.

Whoa whoa, hold your horses. It seems that you read a tendency you've seen on a single website into a large group of people.

But yeah, I guess it's common for us to think it's better to be different, if being different means to be like we, each of us, are. We very often do not see the qualities in other sociopaths or psychopaths. It's a very personal feeling that I am better than others, and I happen to be different from most people. It's got nothing to do with being different just to be different, it's because I'm different exactly the way that I'm different.

I know of quite a few psychopaths who don't think of themselves as 'different', but as the best of normal there is!

But there are a lot of people who think that their god is better than the gods of others so best to watch out that you're not crucified.

Have you not followed the trends of the last decade or so? We're being crucified, my friend, believe me! We're not being called gods, but we're being called 'Demonic', 'a different species', 'non-human', 'alien invasion', etc..

    I appreciate your input!... '^L^,

  29. Damn you Zhawq you recited my thoughts in so many places. Well put.

"Deplorable as I think him to be, I doubt very much if Hitler was a sociopath."

He was most certainly a sociopath.
Read Mein Kampf he is text book in so many places.

"But not even a sociopath is dumb enough to think that a knife to the throat won't kill, so why commit crime and risk punishment if there is no great gain for them?"

Now you are just talking about low-functioning and high-functioning. The risk reward function in low-functioning I personally believe isn't as active. They don't see risk and certainly aren't afraid of it so the only thing left is reward. In high functioning it is more active but still not to the point of a neuro-typical person.

My god is a physical being that I see every time I look in the mirror. You can tell me all about how you see yours in the wind but I can be your very physical and present destruction.

  30. But not even a sociopath is dumb enough to think that a knife to the throat won't kill, so why commit crime and risk punishment if there is no great gain for them?

I commit crime and risk punishment because it's worth it. I have already made enough to where if I'm caught I won't even care. The knifes never on my throat.
As far as being smug goes, I'm as smug as they come you fucking cunt. I like watching people like you suffer with all your goodness and tact. You like to come off as someone who's learned a lesson, but we all know that's not true. Once you're burned you have a scar.

A problem I have as well. I wake up and think of what I have to do in a day and consider it done at that moment. I've never found a solution. I just take small breaks and try to split my attention between what I'm interested in and what has to be done. I also smoke... It actually works. Calms my mind and helps me concentrate. If I can smoke and work on something then I'm a lot better. You could try meth too. That works.

Rapists aren't going to leave you alone if you tell them that they have a small cock. I haven't known that many other sociopaths but with the one's who have entered my life I never had any choice about fighting and competing with them. There's only room for one person like me in my life and I'm only interested in making "friends" with people that I can control. The same goes with any other dominant people wether socio or not.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Rape is about humiliation and control not sex, sex is the bonus.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The reason why most sociopaths don't run into each other is because there aren't that many of them.

    ReplyDelete
  51. So many angry anon's today.

I think you are too quick to dismiss the idea of woman enjoying being raped though Haven. It is no secret most women fantasise about it. The lack of power and control and being "slapped about" as someone i know told me.

Maybe they do enjoy it but the social stigma that rape incurs forces them to put on the mask of pain and repress their enjoyment to save face?

    ReplyDelete
  52. When women fantasize about rape it's still an idealize, controlled environment. In their minds. Just because someone fantasizes about something does not mean that they have any intention or true desire to go through with it.

I do agree that often women like the idea of being dominated in sex and relinquishing control. However these ideas are not equivalent to the extremes that are presented by rape.

I think a big problem in our society is the false accusasions of rape that lead to misleading ideas of what a 'victim' looks and acts like. Rape is not consensual. Without permission, withing participation it is unlikely to be enjoyable (consider one reason being the fact that there's gonna be a hell of a lot of chafing and that hurts because the woman won't be aroused).

That's not to say that some women don't actually enjoy it. There are exceptions to every norm, but don't fool yourself into thinking that it's the standard or even acceptable.

  57. I've never raped a woman. I've had rough sex with alot but it was always consensual to begin with. I like to do weird things like holding knives to womens throats and choking them during sex sometimes. It's a power trip because they've actually agreed to let me hurt them and surrendered to me. I have actually raped a few men to be. I'm not attracted to other men but I've used rape to completely dominate and humiliate a few of them, and to let them know that I own them. It's more about humiliation than domination. It shreds mens masculine self image and is practically the same as mind fucking them except that you're also literally fucking them. When I was little I was a sexual deviant. I was such a pyromaniac that fire actually aroused me and images of of violence and death also turned me on. In some ways they still do. I'll never nead viagra when I'm old because I can just light a match instead. I lost my virginity at an early age though and I realised that actually sex was better than any of those things.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I lost my virginity when i was like 2 years old, and no i was giving it not receiving. I used to do strange things to the women that would stay in my house, when they were sleeping i'd try to have sex with them, i didn't know what i was doing because i was so young, then again i can't remember if i knew what i was doing. I'd imagine the women were dead and rub my hand up and down their face, i was facinated with death the stillness of it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Another reason I imagine why people rape is to have a major occurance in a persons life, when you damage someone in a huge way like that you are the significant person in that victims mind, you own her. Her job her family life will be nothing compared to that moment.

  60. If i could get away with it I'd be out raping women every day, it would be fun as shit, stalking out your victims and possessing them.

I can do wrong but it always feels right. I don't need to wear any masks on here and I hope that at least some of the people here really are as despicable as me. Most of the people who know me don't know what I'm really like. You can call it twisted or sadistic or whatever you want because I don't give a shit. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am a great person but I'm not I nice person.

  65. "I'm not attracted to other men but I've used rape to completely dominate and humiliate a few of them, and to let them know that I own them."

Let's say the man was a homosexual and wanted you to fuck him. Wouldn't that take away the edge in what you are doing. The same thing happens if you turn the situation around. Where a woman is saying no she says yes. Then acts like it isn't that good or that it is great. That way it takes the edge. There is no longer control for the male because the female is taking part in it now as well. There is no more power in it because now it is a mutual exchanged. Those women who you held the knife to ALLOWED you to do it. They knew before hand that it would happen. So in truth the feeling of power you got was illusion and was only there under their consent.

  68. Wasn`t talking to you, Misanthrope :P Although the fact that you immedeatly felt attacked (or wasn`t your post directed at me?) tells me that you're at least aware of your reputation here. I actually like the fact that you're really doing your best at not being pretentious (unlike some other people I could mention). I was talking about that guy upwards who was posting `RAPE RAPE GORE` etc. and all those emo kids posting `dark` lyrics and poems. By the way: I liked your distinction between `good` and `great`. Care to elaborate on your defenition on great?

  69. "Let's say the man was a homosexual and wanted you to fuck him. Wouldn't that take away the edge in what you are doing."

I'll admit that makes sense. I'd never be interested in consensual sex with another man. But what I mean is that rape is a violent attack. Most women wouldn't have time to stop and think how to outsmart their rapist while there having a dick rammed up their ass. If they did taunt there rapist and make them feel weak they'd only make it worse.

"So in truth the feeling of power you got was illusion and was only there under their consent."

I never tell them what I'm going to do. I work my way up to it and they almost always say yes because they don't want the experience to end. If they say no I do it anyway. I don't rely on things like this for power though which is why I don't always do it. I just like to control every aspect of my life and sex and women are part of it.

    ReplyDelete
  70. That makes sense Rope. All of it. I can even relate to that way of thinking.

  71. This reminds me of a story some of you might find interesting. I was out to get weed one day, already had an appointment with my dealer for later that day, but after getting my money from the bank, 2 fellows randomly approached me with an offer for weed! They had better prices than my dealer. Long story short, I knowingly and willingly stepped into the trap (all the signs of conmen, inconsistencies in what they said, lots of cliche problems, typical set up) because I was... well, a bit desperate to get high, I was expecting it and the dealer thing was 100%. Long story short, they took me to their house, they had to go down the street to get it and needed money, I reluctantly fronted. One guy stays with me, gets a phone call, gives the whole police bullshit story, and says "they're comin' here next, we gotta leave!" and so we all jet, but I decide, "FUCK THIS! I CAN'T FUCKING LOSE MY MONEY" so I went back to their house and stole their PS2. They also sold me a complete skateboard for 10 bucks, which I later found out they actually stole from someone I used to know a long time ago. Pretty funny incident. Unfortunately I didn't quite break even I think, I forgot to grab one of the PS2 chords, didn't think to look around and take anything else, and don't consider the PS2 and skateboard to be worth the money they got from me. Sold the PS2 for 20 bucks about 2 years later, didn't think anyone was interested in those anymore, but at least I got 20bucks... I'm not a sociopath by the way. Not a normal person either though.

    ReplyDelete
  72. how do you sociopaths feel when you're victimised?

do you believe it's possible for you to be victimised?

    ReplyDelete
  73. That depends (obviously), but I personally would have a "lost the battle, but going to win the war"-attitude about being victimised. Something along the lines of a temporary setback. I would probably also make up excuses (i.e: I wasn't paying attention, they caught me ungaurded, etcetera). But again, it depends on the situation, and is completely subjective.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Off topic but, if you had the chance to blow up the world would you?

    ReplyDelete
  75. sorry if I missed this and you already touched on this. I don't really feel like reading all that text. but to Kesu, women likely would not say those things probably because they are likely in too much physical pain to do much else than scream or fight or freeze up. I mean the funny thing about men thinking they have all this power is they don't. Sex is about pleasure. Men ultimately come much quicker than women, because the male organ is easily pleased by the feel of the vag. When a man is raping, he is demonstrating to women, what we already know, a mans dick is hardly pleasurable. they might be able to cause us pain, but the people that give us pleasure, will have more power, man or women, and make people want to come back for more, despite the mental tricks and victories, they forget because they need the pleasure, and are connected, addicted to that pleasure.

    ReplyDelete
  76. kesu, you a fucking idiot:

"Just make sure not to say anything that gets you killed."

    is this empathy?

    dumb fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Also I would not blow up the world. I'd rather eat food that taste good and masturbate. to men that know how to please me.

    ReplyDelete
  78. (K)kesu, you (are) a fucking idiot:

"Just make sure not to say anything that gets you killed."

    (I)is this empathy?(Nope.)

    (D)dumb fuck.

You got me. You totally got me. With your domineering command of the English language. I must submit to your awe-inspiring intelligence. Thank you. I can't even begin to put to words how impressed and humbled by your words I am.

    @anon4:06
So in others words if sex isn't that pleasurable a female loses all power. Then I am absolutely untouchable. Your logic is as simple as your mind. One thing you have to keep in mind is that I don't freak out in harrowing situations. So I can't really understand being so scared that thought actually escapes me. I understand just reacting but I end up thinking too quickly.

    ReplyDelete
  79. No no, if sex isn't that pleasurable, than the person with power becomes the one that is not experiencing the pleasure, in this situation that is the female. Because in the end they will do nothing for you. It's a moment of non pleasure for the female, but they will want nothing from you after that, you're worthless. If you DO pleasure the female then they will need you, love you, do whatever they can for you. Then they will loose power. And they can always seek pleasure elsewhere if a man fails them, showing their lack of need for them. And didn't you say you don't want people to be cold to you, but to give you affection and all that, even when you are cold to them? What better way to have that affection then to please them physically, to make them believe you offer such security, despite who you are and what you can do?

    ReplyDelete

  86. Sociopath vs Sociopath is not so very interesting. If anything, it is overdone.

However, Sociopath w/Sociopath makes it a hell of a lot more interesting, especially when you up the stakes to three different ones working towards a superficial common goal where the actual goal of each person is probably vastly different. Mind games, subtle backstabbing, gas-lighting, double talk, alliances and hidden feuds, elaborate lies, and pitting each other against one another through the veil of actual concern.

It all makes for very good writing, and an interesting chapter in my life (currently). The intrigue is intoxicating, the risks are astronomical, but the potential gains should make it to where the most sensible thing is to be honest and work together. But that would be too easy, and too straight forward. Drama free. What a bore...

I normally don't gamble too much, but I'm finding this game far too addicting, and even though the price for losing is exorbitant, the game itself almost makes it seem worth it.

But I have no intention of losing. If it means burying the other two to fulfill my true goal, I can always find replacements.

  87. Rip why are you here? You're just trolling a good website. Does anyone know how to kick him off?

  88. I've gone up against a few sociopaths. They don't intimidate even when the odds are against them. I have yet to go up against any intelligent ones. The thing about sociopaths is they rely on deciet and other people. The ones I went up against lied so much nobody trusted them but weak fools. In cases where they are too stupid and have little influence its best to give them enough rope to hang themselves. Directly coming in conflict they just destroy what you have with themselves anythin else around them.

I once read some of it, but it's such a long time ago. Actually it was about 2,5 yr.s after I was diagnosed the 1.st time; but I knew next to nothing about my own condition then, so I couldn't, and didn't, think about him in terms of psychopathy and sociopathy. - I've been thinking about re-reading the book.

What are your thoughts about Hitler, and about 'Main Kampf', Kesu?

    UKan,

I'm as smug as they come you fucking cunt.

Haha. Yeah, that's what he said first: That we're all smug (he said 'sociopaths are smug', but he meant sociopaths, AsPD'ers and psychopaths alike).

Me, smug? No way!! How could anybody think that about me!??

I like watching people like you suffer with all your goodness and tact.

    Anon 11:45,

high functioning sociopath = slightly more fearful [and] somewhat less sociopathic than low functioning sociopaths.

    that's my opinion, anyways.

It's an oversimplified opinion, that's what it is. You can't distinguish between high- and low-functioning individuals by two characteristics alone.

    Anon 11:52,

I've already heard of cutting up big tasks in a series of smaller tasks, and mentally/physically rewarding yourself everytime you finish one of them, but that doesn't seem to work (at least for me).

I know. This is a trait sociopaths, psychopaths and AsPD'ers have in common, and the technique you refer to works for very, very few people such as us.

I'll be publishing a series of articles focusing on the issues that people like us have to deal with in both the daily and the extraordinary parts of our lives. You're welcome to hang on for the ride.

Zhwaq, i use this technique. if i didn't i would not get anything done. i'm puzzled that it doesn't work for everyone, regardless of personality predisposition.

if i break it down into tiny pieces then it doesn't feel like it will take forever. the reward is a feeling of getting it out of the way even if it was only fifteen minutes of work and there are hours left. if you chip away fifteen minutes at a time it soon gets done. the trick is to not think about it and just do it. i write it out, form a plan and execute it.

if i think about it then when i have to do it, it feels like having to do it twice - boring. if i write it down, i don't have to think about it. i check to see what needs to get done that day. if it doesn't i move it to the next day. no stress. but i make sure to get at least one scheduled thing done each day.

at which point does this technique fail for you and for the others?

... It's possible to orgasm ... even out of pain, but that doesn't mean it's a pleasant experience.

Either way, it's a fact that some people do enjoy it. It is called Sexual Masochism.

Aspie is not ridiculous but misses a few details in the picture.

Rape is a very central erotic "role play" that probably a majority of women either secretly fantasize about, or actually enjoy in some form. But the psycho-sexual emotional damage done to women during their childhood and puberty through the suppressive and judgmental treatment that our Christian culture views as 'normal', is too great and these women can only enjoy sex in a very limited way, or even not at all (cuddling is not the same as sex).

    Misanthrope,

Most women want to be dominated during sex and some even have rape fantasies.

    Yes, that's true.
I don't create a lust in my female partners and magically implant it in their brains and sexual system. I bring out in them what was already there before they met me.
Sexuality is so deeply ingrained in each of us, we can't force something on others and make them like, love it, lust for it and beg to get it, if it's not part of their sexuality already. It is often on a subconscious level, which is why it sometimes seems as if it's not there.

By this I'm not saying most women enjoy being mutilated by a stranger with foul breath, or some stupid shit like that. It's about a controlled situation where somebody takes complete control over the woman (or, sometimes, man) and make them my slave.

When I emotionally abuse a person by using sex, it's not the sexual act itself that damages their psyche, it's all the rest, the exposure to the humiliation that relates to how others and society reacts to them when they're helpless in the grip of a primeval lust that reduces the individual to an object, lower than an animal as they stand naked for the world - and everybody in their social circles, family, friends, colleagues and employer, strangers and maybe even their local minister (if you're in a more sadistic mood)... These are the kinds of things/techniques which you can use to hurt a person beyond repair!

It's never sex itself. Not even healthy masochistic sex.

I know of people I've met, female psychopaths, even, who engage in sex as masochistic slaves. And they enjoy it with just as much healthy and shameless fervor as they do sex where they play the role of the master, such as I have done on a regular basis - though almost always with strongly empathy and remorse/guilt capable individuals - over the years.

ha good one Bella, thanks for the reply. it's a bit like tricking yourself into doing the work. for me the thinking is the worst part, the actual doing i don't mind.

the reason i asked is i have some family members who really struggle with this. i never understood the extreme procrastination and inability to organize work or plan out a day.

it's like they just can't make themselves do what they don't want to do. or they only ever see themselves doing it in the future at some point when the "time" is right - which it never is.

    nailed this one, Zoe

that's why I always make appts with people instead of myself.
I rarely want to disappoint another person, but I won't show up for myself. I'm that unreliable to myself. I do things on the fly, and take advantage of the unpredictable and unplanned, random inspiration.
I actually think my mind works this way, too. When I get a thought/ inspiration, I am inclined to jump on it. Maybe that's why I blurt. Idk

    ReplyDelete
  138. you sound like an artist Bella. my mind works similarly. i am unable to find comfort in doing the same tasks every day. scheduling what i have to do leaves random spaces in between where i can breathe.

i would love to be able to stop time and take a break from the world and the way it orders and parcels out reality. the way it only ever offers it up with joyless precision. but it would be hard to go back, aside from random visits and that would mess up the world for everyone else. ;)

the world reflects the brains of the majority. i can't imagine what it would be like to think like linearly that. slower maybe, as you'd always have to plod from a to b to c to get to d, rather than skip right to it. and boring too. but i suppose, not to them.
