This may or may not be of interest to you, but it did make me think of you so I thought I'd send it:
It is a new perspective by psychiatrist Iain McGilchrist on the significance of the anatomical division of the brain (i.e. left vs right hemisphere). He does not make reference to sociopathic behaviour but it would be difficult not to make some associations.
It struck a chord with me as I have always found the existence of sociopaths profoundly disembodied, ie living in their heads, in a concrete, abstract, explicit, decontextualised and heavily simplified world.
You might find it interesting.

Deletei meet them either at school or at the clubs. i like to get a girl with a good body and loves to party. i don't know what is "court them". i just start talking to them and hanging out. make it chill like no big deal. we drink and play pool. i like to see what they like. i get to know them pretty good. i tell them we should get to know each other before we do anything. they like that. it makes them feel like i'm not just trying to sleep with them. once we sleep together we keep seeing each other all the time. first it is really hot but then we fight all the time and i start liking other girls. i sometimes see several girls at one time.

There's a play set in Galway with a socio Mother who pretends she's wheelchair-bound to keep the daughter home. The daughter had been institutionalized years earlier. During the play the daughter forces the Mom to drink lumpy complan as punishment, she holds the Mom's hand on the hot stove, and in the end she kills the bitch with a fire poker to the head. The Mom keeps pissing in the sink throughout. Apparently this stuff takes place in Galway. Galway is also the location where in that movie with Don Cheadle, they make the distinction between a sociopath and a psychopath.
