Meet ups

A couple people have asked me to put them on a mailing list or to email them if there is ever any sort of activity in their area that they can attend, even something informal like meeting up for coffee. I had been keeping a list of those people, locations, and contact information, but I've lost it. So I created a link to a Google form soliciting the same information. It's completely optional and anonymous, but the idea is that if something big comes along, I can email you. Or if I ever happen to be in your town for something, there might be a chance to meet-up at an event, etc.

Here is the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1JglHcrACWZMOiNOk2CaqNKQeVTsDCLgdWUJTl-vAu8M/viewform

And can we all promise not to kill each other, should any of this happen? :)

  2. I wouldn't let my cat kill a mouse she found in my apartment. I put it in a box and let it go the next morning so it could find somewhere else to stay.

  9. This will end smashingly. Keep an eye on your coffee, would be terrible for everyone to accidentally ingest mescaline.

  11. I don't like people fooling around with M.E., and playing games
    with her!
Appreciate M.E.! She is a gem! Where else you get such
information? From "Mistress Lovefraud" and her sour grapes who
charges $50.00 an hour for consultations. Little does she
suspect that SHE might be a sociopath. She WAS born on the 19th
of the mounth. 19 is a male narcassistic number after all.
Getting back to my topic of yesterday, I have some instructive tips
on how you can prevent sociopathy in your daughters.
    1) Don't give girls masculine names.
Some names of female sociopaths in the news: CASEY Anthony,
JODI Arias, JORDON Gramm, (She pushed her husband of 8 days off
a cliff because she was adverse to having sex with him.) And,
    of course, our own JAMIE.
Remember, the Cornerstone (First letter) of a name, tells us what
the person is like, so be careful. Hell hath no fury like a woman
scorned. Particularly a woman who's name begins with "J."
There's no guarantee that the sociopath will be a "high
    functioning" one, so be careful!
    2)Beware the name "Marie."
As silly as it sounds, naming a child "Marie" can cause trouble.
"Marie" adds up to the number 13. 13 is karmonic number.
Casey MARIE Anthony. Caylee MARIE Anthony. Amanda MARIE Knox.
MARIE Antonettet. Google the following songs and listen to the
content: "Marie," Marie's The Name, Of His Newest Flame,"
I sure there are many wonderful girls named "Marie," but why take
    the chance?
    3) Watch out for the letter "Y."
In Chaldean Numerology, the shapes of the individual letters ALSO
provide clues to the personality. The "Y' Cornerstone often leads
a "biforcated life" like the letter "Y."
There was an aspiring actress by the name of YANCY Butler. She
attained some degree of fame. She developed a substance abuse
problem and engagesd in a voilent assult on a family member.
This happened a few years ago. She has not gotten back on her
    feet since.
"Y" can indicate alienation, seperation and confusion like it's
shape. Yancy has two "no-no's." A male (agressive) name for a
    female, and the letter "Y."

  12. Are all psychopaths pathological liars, as in lie just for the heck of it?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I would suggest so. It's fun to lie, and it's useful to lie, so I'd guess that psychopaths would tend to lie even when it wasn't necessary.

    2. So what's the point in going on a meetup with a bunch of them, may as well stay at home watching TV. I can get fiction without leaving the house.

    3. You seem to be assuming that the purpose of social interaction is to tell the truth. Spoiler alert: it isn't. I'd rather listen to interesting fiction than be bored with a true story nine times out of ten. Plus, I figure it could be quite a curious atmosphere.

    4. There has to be a use for the expense spent in lying. It's about utility. Lying and truth are two different tools in the same social toolbox.

  15. But its said that hollow folks don´t need company for other reasons than mockery and abuse? According to some there even exists a "psycho-dar" to spot other hollow folks so they can avoid each other. Anyone spent an evening with glib turds trying to make them look foolish or pry out some shameful secret shudders at the thought of psycho "swap meets". Such an evening most likely will just have one purpose: to see who´s gonna dominate who. All "tough talkers" perhaps would be sligthly less foul mouthed in the presence of dead eyed guests? As a social experiment perhaps it would reveal some scientific insights, but I doubt it would be an evening most sane people with moral brakes would wanna do again..?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly. It's always fascinating to pit predatory personalities against--or at least, alongside--each other. I can only assume most sociopaths would find it to be a challenge and an interesting exercise. I guess that's the point; it wouldn't really be aimed at catering for "sane people with moral breaks".

Plus, what's to say--all the above aside--than a few sociopaths can't get together to enjoy the company and the concept of relating to someone in person? Conversation is conversation, regardless of how it's motivated.

    2. And such a gathering would most likely be a search for victims: genuine articles would look for "puffed up" frauds to persecute. Original items are unlikely to "chill with a few pints". They come to dominate such evening at others expense. Anyone having experienced psycho relatives know exactly what Im writing about: social interaction far, far away from any relaxed, cosy pub-athmosphere..

    3. Everyone has this concept of a psychopath binary: i.e., you're either an emotional empath or a cold, ruthless, destructive monster with no love for worldly things. That's not true. They don't even call people sociopaths anymore; instead, they talk about those who have sociopathic traits.

While I have no doubt that a gathering of psychopaths and frauds would turn into a self-consumptive orgy, I think you're buying into the lie that there are either 100% or 0% psychopaths. There are definitely points on the spectrum between the two. I also definitely feel that sociopaths can enjoy the pleasures of drink or interesting conversation, even if that isn't there to assuage inner loneliness. Sociopaths are lizard-brains: closer to their base and primal urges and pleasures rather than utterly distanced from them. Emotional responses are very much a more recent development in our primal evolution.

  19. Socios claim they are being persecuted, I´m more worried about whats written about the zodiac sign Scorpio, several lately times I have read smearing remarks about public figures "being scorpio" (stated like everyone then "knows" how this person is, negative of course). This is close to witch hunt. Scorpio is the most misunderstood sign, its not a sign for everyone for sure, but to "accuse" folks of being scorps is close to persecution. If socios are succesful they are tolerated. In big western countries this label is now similar to a "superhero". Weird people love to have their weirdness christened sociopathy, they cannot wait to write the tests that "proves" it!
