    Aren´t sociopaths supposed to be cold, withdrawn & reserved folks minding their own business? Narcissism is another rather different condition filled with "social activity" (abuse of others and attention seeking)..

      Anti-Social behavior and anti-social personality disorder can vary in severity and behavior. Definitely isn't a one size fits all. A lot of Sociopaths thrive off social interaction for personal, financial and career gain at the cost of others.

      I think many often confuse business "sociopaths" with ruthless narcis. Similar in their lack of empathy and care for others, yes, but few socios strut around like deluded peacocks. Psychopaths don´t need attention. They don´t need other people. They don´t care what others think of them.

    Really interesting that he works in HR. That must be provide some insight into human behaviour that I would have fun analyzing.

    In these fables I've been reading, there is often reference to fakeness - distinguishing real from fake, dressing up as a bear and so on.

    Why is the hobby scientist dressing up as a bear? What is the scientist up to? I don't understand this part.

    Wow, so cool. I may stop by for one of the chats in the future if there are more. Have never used Zoom, just read that it has gotten hacked etc. Anyway, just stopping by to wish everyone well in these challenging times. Also want to thank M.E. for offering such an interesting blog and for being nice to me way back in 2010 when I used to post around then. Stay safe everyone.

    In a yarn a cat watched a few hobby scientists return from a grizzly forest (their bear costumes were ripped apart). "-So, did your science project confirm that you were powerful creatures more resembling cold demons than mortal men?" the smirking cat asked. "-I CANNOT JUST BE AN ODD WOMAN, I MUST BE SPECIAL! THE BEAR WAS IN A FOUL MOOD BECAUSE OF AN UNFAITHFUL WIFE!" one scientist replied in a shrill voice.
