Here's Arya talking about starting to feel her emotions, how previously her emotions seemed decontextualized, about difficulties in attention (needing subtitles while watching television), people sickness, sensory overload and sensory deprivation, being both cold and naïve, and whether famous cold case missing persons Maura Murray is a psychopath.
My phone fell to oblivion off the chairlift on Saturday. Excellent shredding, though. Day reminded me of a big mountain snowboard video part, something about the ranges. I can never find that video part, but this was the soundtrack:

Uncanny similarities. I can't watch anything without the subtitles, music is too distracting (except binaural beats), can't go on trips or have people visit me for longer than 5 days, "naivety" due to faulty risk assessment. If I couldn't make sense of my emotions due to a scenario I would replay it over and over in my head until the memory became bleached, and if I still couldn't get over it I would destroy everything to stop the obsession. This reminded me of the scene in Killing Eve where Villanelle was emotional on the train after visiting Russia.

ReplyDeleteI think most socios see their condition as superpowers they would not sell for anything. I guess the vast majority of psychics see themselves as an exclusive club of powerful people, not as psychotic freaks.
ReplyDeleteInteresting comments from Victoria and RT (on the last blog post).
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Cat has any reflections on its felt experience while conducting it's naughty activities? It has mentioned boredom and anger in the past.
Since the Cat doesn't like my hypothesising, perhaps it can enlighten us? What, for example, was going on for the Cat when he used weed killer to draw a 3m long arrow on my front lawn? You could pick a different example if you prefer, M. Chat.
Curious minds want to know.
I recall I asked the Cat a question I was curious about and it generously answered. I thanked the Cat, but he disappeared, emerging some three weeks later brandishing his weed killer.
DeleteI don't mess with people but I don't tolerate others messing with me.
M. Chat, do you have any thoughts about that? Thankyou.
Even benign socios like that psychos are feared. They dont like labels that portray the condition as a disease. They like to be seen as something sinister and intelligent that no wise person will attempt to cure or play mindgames with. Some seem to appreciate the image of a black cat with yellow eyes, pointy ears with a sullen look on its face.
ReplyDeleteA very lucid explanation. I appreciate this comment.
