Psychopath M.E. Thomas = Liar?

Author of Confessions of a Sociopath M.E. Thomas gets grilled by Bob about the various inconsistencies in her book and other things she's said, including her claim that she does not have ego about how smart she is (despite her repeatedly talking about how she scores in the 99th percentile for standardized tests and was a National Merit Scholar). Other inconsistencies include whether or not she felt fear when her dad tore through the door of a room she had locked herself in during an argument and whether she did or did not suffer child abuse as a child (she claimed in her book that she didn't, despite ample evidence she did and even now confesses that she did).

Psychopath Free Will

Confessions of a Sociopath author M.E. Thomas chats with Z about free will, creativity, brain function, art, music, and other topics. M.E. Thomas posits especially in the last 10 minutes that the most free will we ever will experience is not in the present moment when we're deciding, or in the unknown future, but when we go back to the past in reconcile ourselves with what happened in the past, coming to understand why things happened the way they did (even in terms of deterministic language, e.g. our genetics, our upbringing, our socialization, our limited choices in the situation), and trying to see the world and ourselves more accurately now than we did before.
